Awards, Grants & Funding

MUNSU has a variety of different awards, grants and funding opportunities available to our members and ratified clubs and societies. The Special Project Grant, Individual Merit Fund and Conference Hosting Grant are decided by our Funding Committee. Our Impact Awards are allocated by our Campaigns and Action Committee. The ETOCSL Award recognizes our hard-working faculty and our longstanding scholarships are distributed to eligible students in an effort to recognize their outstanding contributions. For more information on our committees visit Our Board. Questions about any of these opportunities can be directed to the Director of Student Life.

Awards

ETOCSL Awards

The Awards for Excellence in Teaching and Outstanding Contribution to Student Life (ETOCSL) are intended to give students the opportunity to give back by recognizing faculty and staff members at Memorial who have had a positive impact on their lives. The 2017-2018 academic year would be the tenth year that ETOCSL awards have been distributed, and there have been some very worthy recipients and candidates. These are the only awards for faculty and staff at Memorial that are entirely student-run. If you have any questions about the awards or the nomination process, contact us at munsu@munsu.ca

Awards will be capped at a maximum of $1000.
